Daywise itinerary
On arrival at Bagdogra airport / New Jalpaiguri Rly. Station you will be received and proceed to Darjeeling (7,200 ft. / Distance 103 Kms / 3 hours drive), The Queen of Hill’s. Arrivals at Darjeeling check in at your hotel. Evening free for walk in the Mall, where you will get curio and handicraft shop Overnight halt.
Early morning get ready for an exciting excursion tour to Tiger Hill (8,500 ft), the famous sunrise point in eastern Himalaya and get the breathtaking view of the changing colour reflection over the Mt. Khnagchendzonga peak en route back to hotel. After breakfast proceed for Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing rock, Tibetan Refugee self- help centre (closed on Sunday), Happy valley tea garden, Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda. Back to the hotel.
Today after breakfast drive to the Beautiful Mirik Lake. Is about 1.25 km. long and a 3.5 km road surrounds the lake. The lake is the main attraction of Mirik... At the backdrop of the lake, you will get an idyllic view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and the green lustre of Oak, Chestnut and Maple. Boating in this lake placid is a must to soothe the soul of a weary traveller. Here we will also take a visit to Pashupati Market. This is a local foreign goods shopping market situated inside the Nepal Border. Back to Darjeeling and Night stay.
